Because every BODY is different and we pride ourselves in a customized approach to your recovery, there isn’t a one-sized fits all answer. However, most of our clients find the best results coming in for 6-12 visits.
Absolutely! Our Performance Therapists are Doctors of Physical Therapy, and are trained to refer you to the appropriate health-care provider if necessary.
You ARE an Athlete! Power Up was designed to help people in all stages get back to doing what they love. If you have pain or another limitation keeping you from an activity you enjoy, we’d love to help.
Our patients say it’s because we are the best 🙂 Power Up is a place that allows athletes to achieve optimum results by getting a holistic plan of care. While many clinics are dictated by insurance demands, and the necessity to see 2-4 patients at one time, Power Up is cash-based, which allows us to see our patients 1-1 for an entire hour every visit. This allows us to uncover issues that simply cannot be found in other settings. Know that we will ask LOTS of questions, and look at how your entire body moves. That way we don’t just treat the pain, but the root cause of your issues.
Power Up Performance Therapy is not in-network with any insurance providers. Some patients are able to receive out-of-network benefits, which we are happy to discuss with you to help you understand how your benefits work.
By being a cash-based clinic, we are able escape the broken system that has unfortunately been created in response to the ever-changing insurance landscape. This allows us to focus on you getting better, rather than how to get reimbursed by your insurance.
Your evaluation will be a deep dive into who you are, what in your past may have shaped you currently, and how your entire body moves together. Many times, the area that you come in to get help with may not be the real reason you are in pain or are not moving well. During your evaluation, we will note any areas where you are lacking great movement, and we will make a list of the MOST IMPORTANT things to address. From there, we will perform some manual therapy (hands on treatment like massage, joint mobilizations, or maybe even dry needling), and get you some targeted exercises to get you better fast.
